James Merryfield

James Merryfield has extensive experience in airfield management, having served in various capacities since 1977. Currently, James holds the title of Airfield Manager at Midwest ATC and has been in this position since September 2018, ensuring airfield safety and runway readiness for coalition aircraft. Previous roles include Airfield Manager at IAP Worldwide Services, where responsibilities included coordinating aircraft ground time and emergency response, and Manager at ACS, overseeing flight operations for multiple aircraft. James's early career included significant roles at the Department of Defence and the U.S. Air Force, managing airfield operations and supporting high-level military flights. James earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and attended Community College of the Air Force.
