Trudy Wastweet is an experienced agricultural professional currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Midwest Dairy Association since March 2017. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Congressional Relations at the American Farm Bureau Federation, Deputy Secretary of Agriculture at the South Dakota Department of Agriculture, and National Policy Advisor at the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation. Additionally, Trudy was a 2013 Fellow through the prestigious McCloy Fellowship in Agriculture, engaging with German agricultural leaders. Trudy's early career features positions such as Assistant Executive Director at the Minnesota Pork Producers Association and Education Director at the Minnesota Pork Producers Association.
