Ross Paulson

Ross Paulson has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Ross started their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013, where they gained experience in designing and developing testing apparatuses for biomechanics research.

In 2014, Ross had internships at Zimmer and Beckman Coulter, where they worked on projects related to knee development and systems integration. At Beckman Coulter, they collaborated with systems engineers to create integrated systems for testing select assays.

From 2015 to 2016, Ross worked as a Systems Integration Intern at Beckman Coulter, where they utilized Solidworks and 3D printing to create rapid prototype setups and test rigs for Design of Experiments (DoE).

Ross then joined Vention Medical in 2016 as a Product Development Engineer, where they focused on designing and developing catheters and other medical devices through custom design and integration of existing designs. Ross also worked closely with program managers and clients to provide tailored solutions.

In 2018, Ross moved to Nordson MEDICAL, where they held the role of R&D Project Manager II and later Product Development Engineering Manager. During this time, they managed product development projects and ensured their successful execution.

Most recently, Ross joined Midwest Interventional Systems, Inc. in 2019. Ross started as the Director of Engineering and Design Services and gradually progressed to roles such as V.P. of Engineering and Design Services and V.P. of Design Services. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technical Officer.

Ross Paulson attended Anoka-Ramsey Community College from 2009 to 2011, where they pursued a general education focus. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2015, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
