Andrea Walz Hartman

Andrea Walz Hartman has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Andrea began their career in 2004 as a Service Associate at Two Rivers Bank & Trust Company. In 2006, they joined Sylvan Learning Centers as an Activities Director/Tutor. Later that year, they joined MidWestOne Bank, where they held multiple roles over the years. Andrea started as a Service Associate/DT Retail Operations Assistant/Lead Service Associate and then progressed to the role of Personal Banker Associate. From 2009 to 2012, Andrea served as a Service Banker, providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers. In 2013, they became an Assistant Retail Manager, overseeing Service Associates and performing Personal Banker duties. In 2015, they were promoted to 2VP Retail Manager, responsible for the Retail department at the Burlington office. Currently, they hold the position of 2VP Retail Market Manager, overseeing the Retail departments at the Burlington and Fort Madison, IA offices, with direct supervisory management of Universal Bankers and Personal Bankers. Throughout their career, Andrea has focused on maintaining staffing, security, compliance, and operations, while also striving to exceed customer expectations.

Andrea Walz Hartman received their State of Iowa Teaching Certification in K-6, with a Social Studies Endorsement, from Iowa Wesleyan College. Andrea completed this certification from 2004 to 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa, graduating in 2004. Andrea also attended Burlington Community High School from 1996 to 2000, where they received a diploma and pursued both Honors and General studies.
