Mark Erickson has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Mark started their career as an Assistant Vice President at First State Bank Spring Lake Park in 1990. Mark then moved on to work at Bell Atlantic Tricon Leasing as a National Commercial Credit Manager, where they were responsible for underwriting commercial credits and managing a team of credit analysts. In 1997, they became the President of The RiverBank, overseeing branch operations and business development. The RiverBank was later acquired by Central Bank, where Mark continued to serve as President, responsible for the operations and commercial business development of the NE region. In 2015, they joined MidWestOne Bank as the Regional President, overseeing the operations and commercial business development of the Northeast Region, consisting of 5 offices in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Overall, Mark Erickson has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on operations, commercial business development, and branch management.

Mark Erickson attended the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management from 1984 to 1989, where they earned a BSBA degree in Finance and Marketing. Mark furthered their education at the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison from 1999 to 2001. Here, they obtained a degree in Banking with a focus on Banking and Financial Support Services.
