Victor Tan

Victor Tan has a long and varied work experience. Victor began their career in 2009 as Manager of New Media for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee. In 2011, they joined the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore as Centre Director (US) and Manager of Industry Development. In 2014, they were promoted to Director at Infocomm Investments. From 2017 to 2018, they were Director of Venture Investing and Director (North America) at SGInnovate. During this time, they also held Investor roles at Sense Photonics (Acquired by Ouster), Blaize, DiMuto, and Mighty Jaxx. In 2021, they were appointed Senior Director of JCI Ventures at Johnson Controls, and in 2022 they were promoted to Chief Investment Officer at Mighty Jaxx.

Victor Tan's education history includes a Venture Capital Executive Programme from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business in 2014. Victor also obtained a Master of Arts in Communications and New Media from the National University of Singapore in 2003-2005. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Information and Communications Management from the National University of Singapore in 1999-2003. Additionally, Victor Tan obtained an Executive Certificate in Directorship from Singapore Management University in September 2021.
