Jamie Lang has over 20 years of work experience in various roles. Jamie began their career in 1996 as a Software Tester for Invest Learning. In 1998, they joined Volt Technical Resources as a Software Tester. In 1999, they joined Microsoft as a Senior Program Manager and Software Design Engineer in Test. Jamie was responsible for synthesizing business requirements, sales forecasts, market research and competitor products information into technical specifications for developing the 0-1 Microsoft Expression Encoder through 4.5 versions. Jamie also managed feature testing for Microsoft digital media products and applications including Windows Movie Maker, Microsoft Producer, Windows Media Player, Zune and Expression Encoder. In 2012, they joined Tableau Software as a Senior Product Manager and was responsible for creating the vision of a 0-1 functional automated test infrastructure. In 2018, they joined Zipwhip as a Senior Technical Product Manager and was responsible for product vision, strategy and roadmap for all customer facing account lifecycle functionality from onboarding to cancellation. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Mighty Networks as a Principal Technical Program Manager and is responsible for increasing developer efficiency, reducing operational costs, and leading teams responsible for real-time and email transactional notifications.

Jamie Lang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University between 1992 and 1998. In 2014, they obtained a Scrum Master certification from SolutionsIQ.
