Ethem Kamanlı has extensive work experience in supply chain and logistics management. Ethem started their career at Migros Ticaret A.Ş. in 2002 and held various roles within the company's Supply Chain Solutions department, including Supervisor, Specialist, Manager, and Group Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for business and process development, operations and business intelligence, distribution center planning, logistics services, and fruit & vegetable logistics. Ethem also played a key role in coordinating and designing the network and processes, strategic and operational planning, cost management, and implementing IT projects. Additionally, they were involved in establishing the Internal Audit department and shaping the store operating audit model. Ethem also worked as a Strategic Planning Specialist and Research and Development Specialist during their tenure at Migros. Currently, they serve as the Co-Chair of the Coalition of Action for Data at The Consumer Goods Forum, a position they have held since 2023.
Ethem Kamanlı earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Environmental Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2000. Ethem then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Industrial Engineering from Boğaziçi University from 2000 to 2004. In 2010, they completed a non-diploma EMBA in Business Administration at Koç University. Prior to their higher education, Ethem attended The Koç School from 1987 to 1995, though no degree or field of study was specified.
