Joe O'Brien

Joe O'Brien has substantial work experience in various roles. Joe currently works as a Content Manager at Mika since 2022. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, they worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst/Supervisor at Klarna, Sykes, where they supervised customer service agents, provided coaching, conducted training workshops, and oversaw fraud/security and disputes departments. From 2019 to 2020, Joe worked as a Content Writer at anvajo, where they focused on scientific content writing and editing. Joe also served as a Biotech Content Manager at ZAGENO Inc. from 2017 to 2019, responsible for maintaining the product database, creating product attributes, descriptions, and variants. Earlier in their career, Joe worked as an Installer of Altro Whiterock PVC hygienic walls at Arcan Cladding Ltd from 2012 to 2017, and as a Bar Tender at Workers Beer Company from 2013 to 2016. Joe also gained experience as a Technical Services Intern at Alexion for a 6-month work placement in 2015. Additionally, Joe worked as a Cashier and contributed to park maintenance at Rathbeggan Lakes Family Park from 2009 to 2012.

Joe O'Brien completed their high school education at Dunshaughlin Community College from 2006 to 2012. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology at Dublin City University from 2012 to 2016. In 2016, they enrolled in Trinity College Dublin to pursue an MSc in Translational Oncology, which they completed in 2017. Later in 2017, Joe O'Brien received a study scholarship to Friedrich Schiller University Jena in Germany, where they focused on Molecular Medicine.
