Charmien Fugelsang

Charmien Fugelsang currently serves as Chief People Officer at Backlight since June 2024, having previously held the same title at nTop from September 2021 to April 2024, contributing to the development of advanced engineering design tools for manufacturing. Prior to nTop, Charmien Fugelsang was Vice President of Talent at Vimeo from May 2014 to March 2020, where global employee growth was achieved from 90 to over 650. Experience also includes Director of Talent Management at AppNexus, overseeing HR scaling from 30 to over 500 employees prior to its acquisition by AT&T, and earlier roles in management and education. Educational accomplishments include a Doctoral Candidate status at UCLA, a Master of Arts from New York University, and a Bachelor of Arts from New York University in Portuguese Language and Literature.
