Jeff Gray

Vice President of Engineering and Operations at Mikroscan

Jeff Gray has more than 25 years of management experience ranging from small startup companies to Fortune 100 firms. He has two decades of product development and operations management experience as president/head of technology for a test equipment manufacturing firm, and as vice president of operations for a medical device manufacturer. He has held many management-level roles at companies such as CareFusion (formerly Cardinal Health/Pyxis/Alaris) in the fields of product development, manufacturing, reliability engineering, and regulatory compliance.

Jeff also managed the test laboratory and staff for the North American operations of a European Notified Body (Nemko), and is an expert in creating and maintaining high-functioning quality management systems (ISO 13485 and ISO 9000), including Risk Management, and FDA GMP (21 CFR 820). He has employed his Lean and Design for Six Sigma training to scale in-house manufacturing operations in a startup company ($20k/mo) to mid-volume production ($500k/mo) over a period of 12 months.

Jeff holds an MBA from Indiana University Kelley School of Business, a Master's Degree in Engineering from Purdue University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University. He is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt by Ohio State University Fisher College of Business, and maintains a Professional Engineering License in the State of California (electrical). Jeff is the holder of six U.S. patents, with other patents pending.
