Christina Last is a Machine Learning Researcher at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute since October 2024 and serves as a Technical Cofounder at AQAI since May 2022, where Christina is the lead author of a publication at CHI 2021. Christina was a Fulbright Scholar with the US-UK Fulbright Commission and a Postgraduate Researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from August 2022 to October 2024, involved in projects at the Senseable City Lab. Additionally, Christina worked as a Research Fellow at the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University, recognized as a top candidate among a large applicant pool, and as a Research Scientist at The Alan Turing Institute, collaborating on reproducible research with leading researchers. Previous roles include Research Engineer at Skwire and Community Lead at AICamp, where Christina organized workshops for a vast audience of software engineers. Christina also contributed as a Visiting Lecturer at Harvard University and holds an MSc from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a BSc with Hons. from the University of Bristol, and has participated in an academic exchange at the University of California.
