M.D. Rifat Arefin

Md Rifat Arefin is a Ph.D. student at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute since September 2021, concurrently serving as a Research Intern at Samsung Electronics from February 2025. Previous experience includes roles as an Applied Scientist Intern at Amazon, a Visiting Researcher at ServiceNow Research, and a Research Intern at Recursion, among other positions. Md Rifat has also held a research internship at the Montreal Institute for Learning Algorithms under Professor Yoshua Bengio. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctorate in Computer Science from Université de Montréal, a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Kyung Hee University, and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the University of Dhaka.
