Alyssa Newlon

Alyssa Newlon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in nonprofit leadership, strategy, and research. Currently serving as the Director of Development, Communications Strategy, and Research at Better Together America, Alyssa also consults for the ASU Department of Psychology, focusing on customer acquisition for Psych for Life. As the Founder and Creative Engagement Officer of Tardigrade Development, Alyssa supports small nonprofit startups, while simultaneously acting as Creative Director for Team Democracy, which aims to reduce political polarization. Alyssa's previous roles include Advisory Board Member for the Milaan Foundation, Research Assistant at both Arizona State University and the University of California, Berkeley, and Director of Programs for Milaan Girl Icons, where Alyssa co-founded the initiative. Academic credentials include a Master's in Psychology from Harvard Extension School and a Master's in Experimental Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, along with degrees in Social Impact Strategy and Anthropology.
