William McCarthy

William McCarthy has diverse experience in leadership roles within the engineering field. William currently holds the position of Senior Vice President at Milbank | Energy at Work, where they have been since 2017. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Engineering at the same company from 2017 to 2023.

Before joining Milbank, McCarthy worked at T.D. Williamson as the Senior Director of Engineering from 2015 to 2017. In this role, they led various engineering teams located in different countries and was responsible for a significant portion of the company's revenue and profit.

Prior to T.D. Williamson, McCarthy served as the VP of Engineering at Eaton from 2011 to 2014, overseeing new product development, value engineering, and product testing teams. William was also a member of the executive leadership team.

William then pursued a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, which they obtained in 1993. Following this, McCarthy continued their education at Pennsylvania State University from 1994 to 1997, where they studied Mechanical Engineering and pursued a PhD, although it is not confirmed whether they ultimately obtained the degree.
