Martina Karlsson

Martina Karlsson has a range of experience in human resources and staffing/recruitment. Martina is currently working at MilDef as the Chief People Officer, a role they began in September 2023. Prior to this, they were the Director of HR at MilDef from March 2023 to September 2023. Before joining MilDef, Martina worked at Axis Communications, where they held multiple positions including Manager Group Compensation & Benefits from September 2021 to March 2023, HR Manager for the Middle East & Africa from January 2015 to September 2021, Recruitment Specialist for Global Sales in August 2014, and HR Coordinator from June 2011 to July 2014. Martina began their career at Academic Work as a Staffing & Recruitment Assistant from September 2009 to June 2011.

Martina Karlsson attended the University of Gothenburg from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and Labour Relations. In 2017, they also obtained a certification in Extended DISC from Academic House.
