Prior to this role, Sandra worked as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer at Baylor College of Medicine Children's Foundation Uganda from December 2013 to February 2019. Sandra holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Demography and Population Studies from Makerere University, completed in 2007, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management from Uganda Management Institute, obtained in 2012.

Our Reach With support from PEPFAR through CDC, Mildmay works in partnership with Ministry of Health and the leadership of 16 supported districts of central uganda; Over 500,000 people tested per year - 10% children Over 84,000 people in care with 80% on life saving ARVs Supports over 16,000 OVCs & their families to access care & other services-economic strengthening . Reaching over 6,000 Children with HIV; Testing Over 65,000 pregnant women reached annually Supporting over 286 salaried health workers in the region; over 5000 trained annually Cervical cancer screening, treatment and palliation; supported 10 sites across Uganda; supported over 20,000 women to screen to prevent this cancer
