Jim Shuler currently serves as Medical Director at Thrivur Health, Mile High Recovery Center, and Foundry Treatment Center Steamboat, while also owning Substance Use Disorder Consultants, LLC. With extensive involvement in addiction medicine, Jim holds multiple roles, including attending physician and consultant at various addiction recovery facilities. Jim has been a member and fellow of the Wilderness Medical Society and the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians since the 1990s, participating in various committees. A member and fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, Jim also serves as an attending and consulting physician at Denver Recovery Group West. Jim earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and a master's in healthcare administration from Des Moines University in 1996.
