Mile High Youth Corps
Xavier Jennings currently serves as the Associate Director for YouthBuild at Mile High Youth Corps, having ascended to this leadership role after extensive experience with the organization since July 2010. In the position of Program Coordinator for Equity & Leadership, Xavier mentors youth aged 18-24, focusing on skillset and mindset development along with community engagement. Previous roles include Manager: Equity & Leadership and Program Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed training and leadership development for Corpsmembers. Xavier's career also includes positions as a Fellow at the Urban Leadership Foundation of Colorado and Coordinator & Electives Educator at RiseUp Community School, along with being a YouthBuild AmeriCorps Member at YouthBuild USA. Educationally, Xavier is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication and Nonprofit Studies at Metropolitan State University of Denver, and holds an Associate's degree in Communication from Community College of Denver.
