Miles Nadal JCC
Sheridan Anisman is an experienced educator currently serving as an occasional teacher with the Toronto District School Board since May 2022, with responsibilities spanning kindergarten through grade 3, including physical education and health. Additionally, Sheridan has worked in junior learning disability and behavior intensive support programs. Other teaching roles include positions at Miles Nadal JCC, Paul Penna Downtown Jewish Day School, Associated Hebrew Schools of Toronto, and The Leo Baeck Day School, among others. Sheridan also served as Special Needs Coordinator and Teacher at Downtown Jewish Community School from September 2018 to July 2023. The Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre (MNjcc) is a dynamic hub in downtown Toronto. We provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to be active, learn, connect and participate in a wide range of cultural experiences. Rooted in Jewish values, the MNjcc is open to all. The MNjcc is home to a 3,800 member state of the art Fitness Centre, the 285 seat Al Green Theatre, four schools, three choirs, a wide range of arts and cultural activities, Jewish Life programming, and a robust Active 55+ program. It is a founding member of the Bloor Street Cultural Corridor, and the lead organizer of the annual Annex Family Festival.
