Jacob Smergel

Jacob Smergel has a diverse work experience. Jacob started their career as an intern at Acme Smoked Fish Co. in 2009, where they conducted market research and gained a valuable understanding of marketing and research in businesses. In 2010, they worked as a crew member at Brownie's Buyouts & Cleanouts, assisting seniors in transitioning to retirement homes and organizing items for auction. In 2013, they interned at WMSH Marketing Communications, where they critiqued videos, created client presentations, and conducted market research for expansion plans. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a marketing writer at Infinity Dental Web. And finally, since 2016, they have been working at Miles Technologies as a web and graphic developer, utilizing their skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Jacob Smergel completed a code bootcamp in 2015 at NYCDA, where they studied Full Stack Web Development. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2010, they attended Fordham University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing.
