David Sawicki

Dave has more than 28 years of experience providing clients environmental consulting, emergency response support, and remediation design and implementation services. These unique qualifications give Dave the ability to quickly evaluate a situation and develop a cost-effective and appropriate strategy for his clients based on the specific needs of the project.

Dave has worked extensively on construction and development projects assessing subsurface conditions or developing remedial strategies to obtain regulatory closure for a pending sale, refinance with a financial partner, or for long-term environmental liability risk management purposes. He has served as a technical consultant to the US EPA in emergency situations including situations posing an imminent danger to the public health or a threat of a release into the environment. In these scenarios, he was tasked with identifying specific hazardous chemical constituents and developing cleanup and containment strategies for the hazardous materials.

Other experience includes management of renovation projects requiring asbestos and/or lead-based paint assessments and subsequent abatement work. He has also managed the evaluation of indoor air and ambient air quality, and the assessment and management of natural resources in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
