Lew Woei Chwan

Lew Woei Chwan has a diverse work experience in the field of UI/UX design and web development.

Starting in 2007, Woei Chwan worked at Syscatech Sdn Bhd as a Web Designer, specializing in User Experience and User Interface Design. They later became a Senior Web Designer and eventually an Assistant Manager, overseeing the creative direction of product design and development.

In 2016, Woei Chwan joined Noor.me as a Senior Designer, leading the design of digital products and playing a role in brand and product development. They conducted user research, testing, and gathered feedback to inform design decisions.

In the same year, Woei Chwan also began working at REA Group as a UI Developer. They collaborated with designers and product managers to translate user requirements into functional interfaces, and developed innovative solutions for better consumer experiences. They utilized HTML, CSS, SCSS, LESS, JavaScript, and React for coding.

Currently, Woei Chwan is employed at Milieu Insight as a Senior UI/UX Designer, and has recently been promoted to Lead UI/UX Designer. Their responsibilities include leading the design of digital products, developing and maintaining design systems and documentation, and conducting user research for informed design decisions.

Lew Woei Chwan's education history includes a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Computing from Coventry University, which they completed between 2005 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a University Postgraduate Certificate in Information Technology & Computing from INTI between 2004 and 2005. Lew's earliest recorded education experience is at SMJK Hua Lian, although the specific dates and degree name are not provided.

In addition to their formal education, Lew has obtained several certifications. In June 2021, they completed the "Design Thinking: Understanding the Process" course from LinkedIn, as well as the "Scrum: Advanced" and "Technical SEO" courses from the same platform. In August 2012, they acquired the "Internal Quality Audit ISO9001:2008 Quality Management System" certification from BMT Certification (M) Sdn Bhd. Lew also obtained the "Advanced Google Analytics" and "Google Analytics for Beginners" certifications from Google in January 2021.
