Paul Frost, AFC®, has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Paul started their career in the US Navy in 1983, where they served in the Maritime Patrol Aviation community. Paul held various roles, including the position of Captain, until their retirement in 2012.

Following their military career, Frost worked for the Navy Region Southwest Asia as Deputy Commander from 2010 to 2012. In this role, they were responsible for providing support to US and allied forces in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.

Frost also served as the Chief of Staff for the Joint Interagency Task Force West from 2007 to 2010. Paul managed a staff of 200 members and was responsible for DOD's Counternarcotics program in the Asia-Pacific theater.

Additionally, Frost worked as an Executive Officer for Tactical Training Group Pacific from 2006 to 2007. Paul also served in various roles in the Joint Staff from 2003 to 2006, including as Executive Assistant to the Assistant to the Chairman and Division Chief and Lead for Battlespace Awareness FCB.

Earlier in their career, Frost held positions in Patrol Squadrons, including Commanding Officer and Executive Officer. Paul also worked as an Assistant Training/Plans Officer for Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Force, Atlantic.

Most recently, Frost worked for the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) as the Program Director for Financial and Benefits Education/Counseling/Veteran Services, starting in 2015. Paul also served as a Volunteer Veteran Service Officer from 2013 to 2015, assisting veterans with their disability compensation claims.

Paul Frost, AFC®, has a Master of Science degree in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces (ICAF), which they obtained from 2002 to 2003. Paul also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from USC Marshall School of Business, which they obtained from 1979 to 1983. In addition to their degrees, Paul has acquired additional certifications such as Accredited Financial Counselor® from AFCPE® (Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education®) in December 2016, and a Veterans Administration Accredited Veteran Service Officer from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in January 2014.
