Suzanne Walker has a diverse work experience, starting in 1978 with the US Army. Suzanne held various roles within the military, including Chief of the Repatriation and Family Affairs Office, where they provided assistance to families with missing loved ones and developed policies for POW/MIA repatriation. In 2000, they joined the Human Resources Command as the Chief of the Repatriation and Family Affairs Division. During this time, they implemented POW/MIA policies and provided support to family members. In 2004, Suzanne joined the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) as the Director of Membership Events and Protocol, and also served as an Executive Assistant and Meeting Planner.

Suzanne Walker's education history chronologically starts in 1973 when they enrolled in Virginia State University and completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 1978.
