Venus Figueroa

Venus Figueroa is currently serving as the Director of Events at Milken Center for Advancing the American Dream. Previously, Venus held the role of Senior Marketing Events Manager at DLA Piper, where Venus managed client-facing events for East Coast offices. Before that, Venus worked as an Events Manager at NORC at University of Chicago and as an Advance Program Specialist at the Smithsonian Institution. Venus also has experience working as a Press Secretary in the US House of Representatives. Venus holds a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from Trinity Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Communications from Howard University.
