Julia Weisenberg is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, wellness, and interpreting services. Currently serving as a Hunter Safety & Bowhunting Safety Education Instructor at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and an Archery Instructor for the Town of Shelter Island, Julia also works as an Animal Handler for United Blood Trackers Inc. and a Sign Language Interpreter for multiple organizations. With a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Stony Brook University, Julia has held various roles that include managing interpreting services and providing virtual wellness coaching since 2014. Julia is dedicated to teaching, fitness, and supporting community members through diverse educational programs and wellness initiatives.

The Mill Neck Family of Organizations enhances the quality of life for people, from infancy through adulthood, who are Deaf, or who have other special needs, such as autism and developmental disabilities. We offer integrated and community-based programs, featuring the latest techniques in auditory/oral and ABA therapy.
