Larry Huisman

Larry Huisman possesses extensive experience in both leadership and operational roles within various organizations. Currently serving in Component Dispatch at Millard Lumber Inc. since June 2022, Larry also operates a small business with Sudncraft since December 2020. Larry's commitment to public service is evident through a longstanding tenure at Weston Fire Department, where key roles included Past Chief and Training Officer since June 1999. Leadership skills were further demonstrated as President of Nebraska APCO/NENA from October 2021 to June 2022, alongside various positions within the Nebraska Chapter of APCO/NENA. Larry's earlier background includes experience as a Dispatcher at 911 and sales and purchasing at Millard Lumber Inc. Larry holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Southeast Community College.
