Alejandra Constante has extensive work experience in materials engineering. Alejandra started their career at Schneider Electric as a Service Engineer, where they completed safety diagnostic reports and managed the process to eliminate bad actors in the production process. Alejandra then worked at the University of Alabama at Birmingham as a PhD Graduate Research Assistant, pioneering the development process of algae fibers for automotive applications. After that, they joined ARES Corporation as a Materials Engineer, providing technical support for bonding processes at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. Alejandra later moved to Millennium Engineering and Integration, where they continued their role as a Materials Engineer and supported the Optical Bonding Working Group at NASA. Most recently, they joined Axient as a Materials Engineer, where they supported the Optical Bonding Group at NASA and completed the qualification of a static dissipative conformal coating for a flight project.
Alejandra Constante obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad de Los Andes between 1997 and 2003. Alejandra later pursued a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, specializing in Materials Engineering, from 2010 to 2015.
