Levon Avanesyan

Levon Avanesyan is a highly skilled quantitative researcher currently employed at Millennium since November 2023 and previously served as a quantitative strategist at Ergoteles Capital from December 2020 to October 2023, focusing on systematic global macro and US cash equities strategies. Levon has extensive experience across the alpha lifecycle, engaging in research, data delivery, productionalization, and trading. Prior experience includes a quantitative research internship at Ergoteles Capital and an investment banking summer analyst role at TD, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Levon began academic pursuits at Yerevan State University, transferring to the University of Toronto for a Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Applications in Economics and Finance, before earning a PhD in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from Princeton University.
