Andrew Gerst

Andrew Gerst is an experienced engineering manager currently serving as the Spacecraft Mechanical Engineering Manager at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, since December 2021. In this role, Andrew leads a team of nine engineers in mechanical design for multiple satellite programs, focusing on mentoring and performance reviews. Prior to this position, Andrew was the Lead Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer at Millennium, directing mechanical design efforts for common bus components. Earlier experiences include roles at Virgin Galactic, where Andrew managed mechanical design teams for SpaceShipTwo and WhiteKnightTwo, and positions at The Spaceship Company, Space Exploration Technologies, and GE Aviation, encompassing various mechanical and avionics design responsibilities. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
