Kai Simpson

Kai Simpson is an experienced engineer currently serving as an Assembly Test and Launch Operations Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, since July 2023. Previously, Kai worked at SpaceX as a Recovery Operations Engineer, where responsibilities included leading Falcon 9 booster recovery operations, enhancing safety and efficiency in high-pressure environments, and managing vehicle maintenance. Prior experience at Boeing encompassed roles as a Flight Test Engineer, Integration Engineer, and Flight Test Requirements and Analysis Engineer, focusing on test planning, execution, and real-time data analysis. Additionally, Kai has a background in STEM education, having taught science to children and served as president of Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of Washington, where a degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering was earned.
