M.s.m.e Joseph Portillo

Joseph Portillo, M.S.M.E, is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as Deputy Space Mission Program Manager and Cost Account Manager at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, since April 2022. Previously, Joseph held the position of Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne, where responsibilities included modifying manufacturing processes and managing supplier relations. Earlier roles included Senior Airborne Project Engineer and Project Engineer at Custom Control Sensors, overseeing airborne projects and providing pressure and temperature switches for aerospace markets. Joseph began a career in engineering as a draftsman and contributed as a Robotics Team Member at the Los Angeles Unified School District. Joseph holds a Project Management Certificate from UCLA Extension and both a Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Northridge.
