Ruqayya Toorawa is an accomplished Space Mission Program Manager at Millennium Space Systems, A Boeing Company, since August 2018, and also serves as Lead Spacecraft Assembly, Test, and Launch Ops Engineer. Previous experience includes co-leading the Intercollegiate Rocket Engineering Competition Team at Stanford Student Space Initiative, overseeing a team of over 20 students in the design, construction, and testing of a composite rocket. Additional roles include Research Assistant at Stanford University's Wieman Lab, where Ruqayya contributed to an NSF-funded project on STEM assessments, and an internship at SpaceX managing payload hardware integration. Ruqayya's early career featured design roles at Boeing's 777X propulsion team and Advanced Tactics Inc, where leadership was demonstrated in managing interns to develop prototype vehicles. Ruqayya holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
