Russell Carroll is a skilled engineer with significant expertise in avionics and hardware design. Currently serving as the Lead Spacecraft Avionics Hardware Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, since July 2021, Russell previously worked as an Electrophysics Engineer at Boeing, focusing on single event effects testing for electronic devices in space environments. Prior experience includes a Hardware Engineer role at SEL, where Russell designed various electronic products and supported compliance and testing processes, as well as an Associate Application Engineer position providing technical support and developing testing tools for utility customers. Russell's foundational experience includes research and development of infrared imaging systems for small satellites and performing electrical engineering internships. Russell holds both a Master's Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
