Jim Gilbert

Jim Gilbert has over 20 years of project management experience in the construction industry. Jim currently works as a Senior Project Manager for Miller Valentine Construction, where they began in November 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Project Manager at the same company since October 2017.

Before joining Miller Valentine Construction, Jim worked at Brackett Builders Inc. from March 2006 until October 2017. As a Project Manager, they successfully managed projects from conceptual form to full project delivery, overseeing budgeting, scheduling, contracting, and quality control. Their projects ranged from $250,000 to $38,000,000 and covered a territory from south Dayton to northern Columbus.

Starting their career at Ferguson Construction Co. in August 2001, Jim gained experience in various roles, from general laborer to carpenter, before becoming a Project Manager within the small projects division. During their tenure there, they managed projects ranging from $50,000 to $4,000,000.

Jim then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Wright State University from 2001 to 2005. Later, in 2006 to 2007, Jim attended the University of Phoenix to further their studies in Business Administration and Management, General. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Procore Certified: Project Manager (Quality & Safety) certification from Procore Technologies in April 2019, the Procore Certificate: Project Manager (Core Tools) certification in March 2019, and the Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management) certification in April 2018.
