Sarah Patton

Sarah Patton has extensive experience in human resources, with their most recent role being the Vice President of Human Resources at Miller Valentine Construction since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Gibraltar Industries for seven years, starting as a Human Resources Manager and eventually becoming the Human Resources Director. In this role, Sarah led a team of nine and was responsible for all aspects of HR development, planning, and operations for three business units with over 650 employees across multiple locations. Before joining Gibraltar Industries, Sarah worked at Close the Loop, Inc as the Payroll & Accounting Supervisor. During their time there, they played a crucial role in transforming the HR department into a strategic business partner and implemented various employee engagement and retention programs.

Sarah Patton obtained their Bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Sarah has also earned additional certifications including the Leadership Development & Succession Strategist (LDSS) from the Human Capital Institute (HCI) in July 2019 and the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM in February 2017.
