Dr. Lori Anthony, IIDA, ASID has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple roles and organizations. Dr. Lori began their career at Chatham University in 2006 as the Director of Interior Architecture, where they directed five degree programs and oversaw the recruitment, hiring, and training of staff and faculty. Dr. Lori also managed the program's budget, forecasted enrollment, and developed external partnerships. Dr. Lori worked at Chatham University until December 2012.

In 2013, Dr. Anthony joined Radford University as an Assistant Professor of Design Thinking, a position they held until August 2015.

Following their time at Radford University, they joined Herman Miller in 2015 as the Design Readiness Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing the readiness of design projects. Dr. Lori was later promoted to Director of One Readiness in February 2021, a position they held until March 2022.

Dr. Anthony's most recent role is at MillerKnoll, where they are currently serving as the Director of Field Learning & Development, a position they started in July 2022. Additionally, they also held the role of Director of Readiness at MillerKnoll from September 2021 to August 2022.

Dr. Lori Anthony, IIDA, ASID has an extensive education history. Dr. Lori began their academic journey at Virginia Tech, where they pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Interior Design from 1999 to 2001. Following this, they went on to the University of Missouri-Columbia and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Architectural Studies from 2009 to 2015.

In addition to their educational achievements, Dr. Anthony has also obtained a certification from the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ).
