Kartik Shethia

Kartik Shethia has a broad range of work experience, primarily in sales and management roles. Kartik is currently serving as the President of International Contract at MillerKnoll since 2021. Before that, they held various positions at Herman Miller, including President of International Contract, Vice President of APMEA, Vice President of APAC, Sales Director for APAC and SAARC Region, and National Sales Manager (India). Prior to their role at Herman Miller, they worked at Steelcase as a Regional Market Manager from 2005 to 2009. Kartik also served as the Country Manager at Ampersand Software from 2003 to 2005, where they focused on selling products in the domestic market and South East Asia. Before that, they held positions at Magnasoft Consulting and Modi Xerox Ltd. Additionally, Kartik Shethia served as a member of Round Table India, a community service organization, from 1991 to 2010.

Kartik Shethia has a diverse education history. In 1981, they attended Somalwar High School, where they completed their secondary education. From 1988 to 1991, they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree at Bangalore University, majoring in Commerce. After that, from 1990 to 1992, they attended the National Institute of Information Technology, studying Software Programming and earning a Higher Secondary in Commerce (HSM) degree.

Later on, in 2012, Kartik Shethia enrolled in the Executive Management Program at INSEAD. In 2014, they completed a course in Managing Global Virtual Teams at the same institution. The following year, in 2015, they completed another program at INSEAD, specifically in the field of Management of Asia Pacific, earning the IMAP 2015 degree.

Additionally, Kartik Shethia pursued further education in marketing and management. Kartik obtained a Master of Business Administration degree (MDBA) in Marketing from SYMBIOSIS INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY, although the specific dates of attendance are unknown. Moreover, they completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Business Management (PGCBM) with a specialization in Management from XLRI Jamshedpur. Unfortunately, no start or end dates are available for these certifications.

Lastly, in July 2019, Kartik Shethia obtained a certification in Digital Business Strategy: Harnessing Our Digital Future from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
