Lalji V.

Lalji V. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Lalji started their career as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at Hugill & Co. in 1988 and later became a Customer Accounting Supervisor at ELF OIL UK LIMITED. In 1996, they worked as a Business Analyst at Amoco (UK) Exploration Company. Lalji then joined S2 Systems International Ltd as a Financial Controller & Company Secretary for the EMEA region. Their next role was at Niku Corporation Ltd as the European Shared Services Manager. Starting in 2002, Lalji worked at Nasdaq OMX Europe Ltd, where they served as a Financial Controller & Company Secretary, managing a portfolio of three UK businesses. From 2010 to 2013, they were the Finance Director & Company Secretary at Momart Limited, where they were responsible for financial management within the fine art installation, transport, and storage industry. Lalji then served as the Financial Controller at Fishpools Ltd from 2013 to 2017. Currently, Lalji holds the position of Financial Controller at MillerKnoll. Lalji has a track record of implementing new ERP systems, reducing management accounting time, negotiating cost-effective leases, and achieving business growth and expansion.

Lalji V. is currently an Executive MBA Candidate at Imperial College Business School. They started their Executive MBA program in 2022, and they have not yet completed it.

In 1988, Lalji V. completed a B.A. (Honours) degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of East London. They studied at the university from 1984 to 1988.

Before attending the University of East London, Lalji V. attended STANMORE SIXTH FORM COLLEGE from 1981 to 1984. While there, they pursued A Levels in Accounting, Economics, and Pure Mathematics.

In 1994, Lalji V. obtained a certification called FCCA from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
