Lindsey Petchel has a diverse work experience in interior design and research. Lindsey started their career as an Interior Design Intern at East Coast Design Inc in 2017, where they assisted in showroom organization and product sourcing. In 2018, they worked as an Interior Design Intern at Kathy Kuo Home, where they created custom designs and assisted in space planning and product selection. From 2019 to 2021, Lindsey worked at Creative Office Pavilion as an Interior Designer, where they managed multiple projects and designed custom solutions for law firms and healthcare providers. Lindsey then joined AFD Contract Furniture Inc. as a Design Associate from 2021 to 2022, where they collaborated on multi-million dollar interior bids and optimized spatial layouts for various clients. Lindsey has also gained research experience at Northeastern University, working as a Design Research Assistant and CAMD Impact Engine UX/UI Research Assistant, where they conducted data analysis, created visualizations, and developed wireframes. Currently, Lindsey is working as a Sales & Design Associate at MillerKnoll, beginning in 2023.
Lindsey Petchel's education history begins with their completion of high school at Marshfield High School from 2011 to 2015. From there, they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Interior Design at Pratt Institute, which spanned from 2015 to 2019. During their time at Pratt Institute, Lindsey also participated in a study abroad program at DIS, focusing on Interior Architecture in 2018. Currently, Lindsey is enrolled in Northeastern University and is expected to complete a Master of Science (MS) degree in Experience Design in 2023.
