Luis Silva

Luis Silva, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Luis is currently serving as the Senior Human Resources Business Partner at MillerKnoll since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Geiger as a Human Resources Business Partner from September 2019 to March 2022, where they focused on increasing the value of HR as a true business partner. Luis also worked at Herman Miller, starting as an Associate Talent Recruiter in November 2015 and later becoming a Talent Recruiter from June 2017 to September 2019. In these roles, they developed comprehensive search strategies, understood business needs, and executed strategies to drive increased awareness on diversity and inclusion.

Before joining Herman Miller, Luis worked at Hope College as an Assistant Director of Admissions from August 2013 to November 2015. Here, they excelled in recruiting high-achieving students and establishing relationships with parents and influential counselors. Luis also managed and executed a scholarship program and developed a new format for screening prospects.

Luis began their career at Home & Company/Tip Toes Boutiques as a Marketing Manager from September 2009 to August 2010. In this role, they assisted in developing a marketing plan, managed social media and email marketing campaigns, and organized community events to enhance customer base.
