Matt K.

Matt K. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Matt started their career as an Engineer III at Duncan Aviation in 2008 before moving on to become a Technical Specialist II at Gulfstream Aviation in 2010. In 2013, they joined SHoP Construction as a VDC Coordinator, where they worked on various projects, including the redesign of Nassau Coliseum and the B2 modular tower. In 2015, Matt worked as an Industrial Design Consultant in the furniture and architecture industry, focusing on designing and managing architecture and furniture projects. In 2019, they became the President of Slate Custom Studio, where they built a multinational supply chain and focused on client-approved CAD models for custom furniture. In 2021, Matt founded Hope Factory Production, leading a team to develop BIM projects for Tiny Home Villages to address homelessness. Currently, they hold the position of Strategic Account Executive at MillerKnoll, which they started in 2023.

Matt K. obtained a BA degree in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
