Alberto Jiménez Ortiz

Alberto Jimenez is a seasoned Regional Cloud Engineer and Service Delivery expert at Millicom (Tigo), serving nine countries in Latin America since February 2023. Previously, Alberto held the position of Lead Cloud Engineer at mutualser from June 2020 to May 2023, where responsibilities included cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and migrations to Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud. As an Oracle Consultant Networking and Security Specialist from January 2022 to January 2023, Alberto focused on cloud customer consulting and networking security best practices. Earlier experience includes serving as Chief Information Officer and Hardware Networking Engineer at Universidad del Sinú - Elías Bechara Zainúm, overseeing cloud projects and IT operations from September 2012 to June 2020. Alberto's educational background comprises a Master's degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Universidad del Norte and a Systems Engineering degree from Politécnico Grancolombiano, among other qualifications.
