Laurent Boitard

Laurent Boitard, a graduate of the ESPCI Paris engineering school, holds a doctorate from the Université Denis Diderot, Paris. He was interested in microfluidic technologies while he was a research assistant at Raindance Technologies, USA. There he discovers that these technologies can be applied for microbiology. He then created a model to automate the culture and analysis of microorganisms in the Colloids and Divided Materials laboratory at ESPCI Paris. He is developing millifluidic technology within the ESPCI incubator. After having secured the solidity of the intellectual property of these technologies, he is focusing on the industrial production of PLCs.
