Don Rickerhauser, MAS, has an extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Don started their career with Allegheny Airlines (later known as USAirways Express) in 1989, where they held various roles including Assistant Chief Pilot and Manager of Flight Standards. In these positions, they oversaw aircraft operating programs, developed policies and procedures, and managed the revision of company manuals and procedures.
Don then joined Continental Airlines in 2000 as a Pilot, operating on international and domestic flights. Don worked as a First Officer on B-737 and DC-10 aircraft, assisting the captain and first officer in flight operations and monitoring system performance.
From 2002 to 2003, Don worked at Northwest Airlines as an Administrator of Operational Safety. In this role, they coordinated safety activities among operating departments, facilitated department safety group meetings, and prepared safety reports and presentations for executive management.
In 2003, Don joined Bombardier Flexjet as the Manager of Safety and Security. Here, they developed and executed strategies in areas such as operational safety, workplace safety, flight security, and emergency response. Don provided leadership support for a team of pilots, dispatchers, and maintenance controllers.
Currently, Don serves as President and CEO of Million Air Dallas, a position they have held since 2023. Prior to this role, they were the President and COO from 2022 to 2023. In these positions, they had direct P&L responsibility for flight and maintenance operations, aircraft management, and charter sales. Don also oversaw strategic planning, budget oversight, and identified business development opportunities. Don'smain focus is on growing the company through business opportunities and navigating the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Don Rickerhauser, MAS, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management/Flight Technology from the Florida Institute of Technology from 1980 to 1983. Don then went on to pursue a Master of Aeronautical Science degree in Aviation Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1995 to 2000. In addition to their education, Don has also obtained several certifications, including an Aircraft Dispatcher certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, an Airline Transport Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration, a Certified Continuity Manager certification from the Institute for Business Continuity Management, a Certified Just Culture Champion certification from Outcome Engenuity, and a Flight Engineer - Turbojet Powered certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. Don has also obtained Type Ratings for B-737, DHC-8, and SD-3 aircrafts from the Federal Aviation Administration.
