Emily Kimura

Emily Kimura has a diverse work experience in various roles related to social media and marketing. Emily is currently working as a Senior Social Media Coordinator at Million Dollar Baby Co. since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Social Media Specialist at Lakeshore Learning Materials from July 2021 to June 2022. Before that, they held the position of Senior Marketing Specialist at WhiskerCloud from June 2021 to July 2021, and also worked as a Social Media Support Coordinator at the same company from June 2020 to June 2021. Emily has also gained experience in the entertainment industry, as they interned at Marvel Entertainment as a Social Media/New Media Editorial Intern from August 2019 to March 2020. Additionally, they have experience in residential life and housing, having served as a Resident Assistant at Barnard College Residential Life and Housing from August 2018 to March 2020. Furthermore, Emily has worked as a Social Media Intern at The Metropolitan Museum of Art from September 2018 to May 2019, and as an Office Assistant at Barnard College Student Life from September 2017 to May 2018. Emily started their career as a Summer Intern at the Museum of Making Music from June 2017 to August 2017.

Emily Kimura completed their education from 2016 to 2020, earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Art History and Music from Barnard College. Emily later pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Digital Social Media from the University of Southern California from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their degrees, Emily Kimura also obtained certifications including the edX Verified Certificate for Data Processing and Analysis with Excel from edX in July 2021 and the Hootsuite Platform Certification from Hootsuite in December 2020.
