Patricia Duncan Hall

Patricia Duncan Hall, MA, serves as an Assistant Adjunct Professor of Education at Mills College since January 2020, while also maintaining a consultancy as a Child Life Specialist since 1999. With over 25 years of experience, Patricia has focused on enhancing the well-being of children and families across California and the nation through various roles, including Chief of Staff, legislative aide, and Policy Fellow for the Berkeley City Council and California State Assembly. Patricia's professional background includes significant positions within Contra Costa County as a Social Services Professional, where responsibilities spanned multiple roles in the Employment and Human Services Division from 2012 to January 2024, and as a College Lecturer in early childhood education at Contra Costa College from 2005 to 2012. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Education from Mills College and a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from San Francisco State University.
