Job description

We're on the hunt for a dynamic Procurement Manager to drive strategic procurement for our key categories and products. If you're ready to optimize quality, cost-efficiency, and ensure stellar product delivery, we want to hear from you! 

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for assigned category and Milrem’s products, aligning with company objectives and product requirements.

  • Manage the assigned category, set goals, establish metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring alignment with category objectives.

  • Manage the procurement of assigned products with the procurement team and product management team.

  • Lead supplier selection and negotiation of contracts, maintain supplier relationships, monitorin performance and drive improvements.

  • Ensure compliance with policies and standards, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives.

  • Take a hands-on approach to sourcing, negotiations, and supplier relationships.

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain management, and category management, with a focus on supplier development.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.

  • Proficient in data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities through spending patterns, market trends, and supplier performance.

  • Proven success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and regulatory compliance.

  • Proficiency of procurement from planning to delivery and lifecycle; skilled in handling multiple projects and deadlines.

  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and proactive risk management; adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply management, engineering or a related field.

  • Willingness to travel as needed.

  • Fluent in English.

Additional Requirements: 

  • A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.

  • Experience in the project base automotive, defence or manufacturing industry.

  • Matrix team management experience.
