We're on the hunt for a dynamic Procurement Manager to drive strategic procurement for our key categories and products. If you're ready to optimize quality, cost-efficiency, and ensure stellar product delivery, we want to hear from you!
Develop and execute procurement strategies for assigned category and Milrem’s products, aligning with company objectives and product requirements.
Manage the assigned category, set goals, establish metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams ensuring alignment with category objectives.
Manage the procurement of assigned products with the procurement team and product management team.
Lead supplier selection and negotiation of contracts, maintain supplier relationships, monitorin performance and drive improvements.
Ensure compliance with policies and standards, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Take a hands-on approach to sourcing, negotiations, and supplier relationships.
Qualifications:
5+ years’ experience in procurement, supply chain management, and category management, with a focus on supplier development.
Strong communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
Proficient in data analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities through spending patterns, market trends, and supplier performance.
Proven success in supplier negotiations, contract management, and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency of procurement from planning to delivery and lifecycle; skilled in handling multiple projects and deadlines.
Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and proactive risk management; adaptable and committed to continuous improvement.
Bachelor's degree in business, supply management, engineering or a related field.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Fluent in English.
Additional Requirements:
A Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
Experience in the project base automotive, defence or manufacturing industry.
Matrix team management experience.
