Susan Akhtar

Susan Akhtar has extensive experience in finance roles in the education sector. Susan began their career at Cranfield University as an Operations Accountant before becoming the Director of Finance for the School of Management. Susan then transitioned to the University of Hertfordshire, where they held the position of Deputy Group Finance Director for over 15 years. Currently, they serve as the Director of Finance at Milton Keynes College Group. Their roles have involved overseeing management accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial decisions.

Susan Akhtar completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Cranfield University from 2005 to 2007. Susan also pursued further education in Chartered Institute of Management Accountants to become a CGMA. Susan also holds additional certifications as an Associate Member (ACMA) of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and an Executive MBA from Cranfield University.
